Precinct Caucuses
Caucuses are democracy at its finest. Caucuses are neighborhood meetings where you and your neighbors can talk about political issues that concern you. Participating is easy all you have to do is show up and sign in, when it comes to delegate elections in most cases all you have to do is raise your hand and agree to be a delegate to your Senate District or County Unit Convention where you can help other IBEW Members to get elected as delegates to the State Convention.
Once again IBEW Local 292 will be offering a $25 stipend to members attending their caucuses click here to download the form which needs to be filled out and signed by your precinct chair and returned to the Union office for processing.
IBEW Local 292 has a great tradition of membership participation in the caucus and convention process, please help out and make sure our Red Shirted Delegates will be seen at State Convention.
Minnesota's Precinct Caucuses will be held on Tuesday February 5th at 7 p.m. for information on the location please check one of the following sites.
If you are unable to attend your caucus but would like to participate by serving as a delegate click here to download a sample letter you should fill out and send with a family member or neighbor to your caucus.
